What Maneki Is

Maneki is a CLI tool and MCP server that helps you manage ad campaigns across platforms like Meta, Google, and TikTok from your terminal.

Data We Collect

When you use Maneki, we collect:

• Account information — your email address and user ID when you sign up.
• Ad platform credentials — OAuth tokens and access tokens you provide to connect your ad accounts (Meta App ID, access tokens, ad account IDs). These are stored locally on your machine at ~/.maneki/session.json.
• Campaign data — campaign names, budgets, targeting settings, and performance metrics retrieved from your connected ad platforms.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal data about your ad audiences.
• We do not store your ad creatives (images/videos) on our servers.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.

How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate you with our service and your connected ad platforms.
• To proxy API calls to ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok) on your behalf.
• To display campaign performance insights in your terminal.

Third-Party Services

Maneki connects to the following third-party APIs on your behalf:

• Meta (Facebook) Graph API — to manage Meta ad campaigns.
• Google Ads API — to manage Google ad campaigns.
• TikTok Marketing API — to manage TikTok ad campaigns.

Your use of these platforms is also subject to their respective privacy policies.

Local Storage

Maneki stores session data and credentials locally on your machine. We do not have access to your local filesystem. You can delete all stored data at any time by removing the ~/.maneki directory.

Our Backend

Maneki routes API calls through api.maneki.sh to handle authentication and proxy requests to ad platforms. We log minimal request metadata for debugging and do not store your ad platform responses.

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
